Founded by domain experts and entrepreneurs with a proven track record in cybersecurity
Michael Mumcuoglu (CEO) and Yair Manor (CTO) are veterans of Unit 8200, the Israeli equivalent of the NSA, where they met and worked together on offensive and defensive cybersecurity.
Michael went on to found one of the first network behavioral analytics companies that was subsequently acquired by Palo Alto Networks, where he spent 3 years launching the Cortex XDR platform. Yair was co-founder of Netonomy, an IoT security company that was acquired by Allot, and previously was Director of R&D for data security company Zerto.
Throughout their careers, they have seen first-hand how complexity and constant change in the environment are the root causes of cybersecurity weakness in organizations. They also noticed that existing cybersecurity tools, systems, and processes don’t address these underlying issues, and made it their mission to solve them with CardinalOps.
