About The Position

Founded by security experts from Unit 8200 and led by executives from industry leaders such as Palo Alto Networks, Microsoft Security, and IBM Security, CardinalOps is focused on maximizing the effectiveness and efficiency of our customer’s existing security stacks.

Using automation and MITRE ATT&CK, the CardinalOps platform continuously assesses their detection posture and eliminates coverage gaps in their existing SIEM/XDRs — Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, IBM QRadar, Google Chronicle SIEM, CrowdStrike Falcon LogScale, Sumo Logic — so they can easily implement a threat-informed defense. What’s more, it drives cost savings and greater efficiencies by recommending new ways to tune noisy and inefficient queries, reduce logging volume, and eliminate underused tools in their stacks. 

We’re looking for a Business Development Representative to facilitate the growth of our U.S. enterprise sales by the means of outbound prospecting and sales discovery.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Sales Development, you will leverage internal tools to prospect new clients, evangelize the CardinalOps platform, drive outbound prospecting, and support our Account Executive team by creating a well-qualified pipeline.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role (Cybersecurity or SaaS preferred, but not required)
  •  Extensive knowledge of outbound prospecting and sales discovery process.
  • English speaker with outstanding written and verbal skills.
  • History of meeting and exceeding sales quotas in previous organizations.
  • High energy with a positive outlook.
  • Resilient; flexible and adaptable to changing conditions at a fast-paced, growing company.
  • Analytical; problem-solver.
  • Team-first attitude. Comes to meetings with ideas, shares successful strategies with others, and supports those around them.
  • Based in the East Coast of the US.
  • French or German speaking skills are a plus

Responsibilities

  •  Use multiple avenues to discover new prospects with due diligence, attention to detail, and creativity
  • Leverage CRM to run outreach campaigns designed to yield high response rates
  • Make cold calls to potential clients in order to generate new business
  • Partner with marketing, channel, customer support, and other related departments to maximize effectiveness of events, webinars, and channel efforts
  • Support territory account executives in generating new opportunities, scheduling demos, and assisting in the overall attainment of their revenue goals
